2014 Battle Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir
Willamette valley, ORegon
Dark, brooding aromatics are ever expanding and developing, from black huckleberry and wild blueberry to orange blossom and camphor. The entry is ethereal, delivering notes of crème de cassis and fresh, resinous pine. A deep, structured mid-palate of sinewy tannins are supported through the finish by the natural acidic backbone so characteristic of this vineyard. This wine will continue to develop and age beautifully for 8-10 years.
